Clinical Trial Development Clinic Statement
The CHM Clinical Trial Development Clinic is a specialised advisory service offered by the Clinical Hub for Interventional Research (CHOIR) in collaboration with the CHM Research Office and the ANU Biological Data Science Institute (BDSI).
Our purpose is to assist ANU-affiliated researchers in enhancing the design of proposed clinical trials for competitive funding.
Our multidisciplinary academic and professional team offers guidance on all aspects of clinical trial development:
Design: We help conceptualise and refine the phase and structure of evaluation, identify the optimal population, intervention, comparators, and establish reliable outcome measures.
Implementation: We assist in the identification of clinical site requirements, and budgetary considerations and leverage available infrastructure including databases and clinical trial management systems.
Analysis: We provide statistical evaluation and guidance on primary, subgroup, and secondary analyses, as well as interim analysis and adaptive measures.
